Case study · E-commerce
Parfums de France: the online shop that knows its stock.
Parfums de France sells luxury perfume and leather goods in Douala. Its customers shop on their phones and pay by Orange Money or on delivery.
The problem
A catalogue of major brands, too large for a shop window. Product pages to write one by one, images to produce for every category. And stock that no longer matched the spreadsheets: the online shop risked selling what was no longer on the shelf.
What was built
- An online shop that loads fast on a phone, parfumsdefrance.shop, organised into five collections: Women, Men, Beauty, Home, L'Édit.
- Detailed product pages, with the fragrance notes and availability.
- Stock counted and tracked in ERPNext, with a single reference store.
- Visuals made from the catalogue: 140 category images and automatically generated product posters.
- Payment by Orange Money or on delivery.
Key dates
- 4 October 2026: 140 category visuals and the shop's launch film.
- 7 October 2026: full stock count entered in the ERP: 205 items, 252 units.
- 12 October 2026: expanded catalogue in production, more than 25,000 products visible.
- 13 October 2026: payment shown as Orange Money or on delivery.
